Insane Mindset Of Some Gun Control Supporters

Opinion

You ever see something posted on social media that is so utterly ridiculous that you immediately assume it was posted by a troll account?  That was my immediate reaction to this insanity posted by Peter Fritz.  His nonsensical commentary exemplifies the ludicrous mindset of some of those who seek to ban guns.

Fritz posted some comments on Facebook regarding the church shooting in White Settlement, Texas.  In his post, Fritz not only calls Jack Wilson, the man who saved countless lives stopping the suspect, a murderer, but he claims the armed gunman who just murdered two innocent people was the victim.

No, I am not kidding. He is quite literally calling the man who stopped the mass shooting in progress the bad guy. Worse than that, he insists the would-be mass shooter is actually the victim.

“After Keith Thomas Kinnunen shot twice, and was walking out or away, a crazy gun lunatic brandished a weapon, endangered 242 innocent bystanders, and shot the victim, Keith Thomas Kinnunen, dead.”

Huh? Say what?

Many will immediately discount this man’s insane comments as not worthy of addressing, and years ago, before social media, I would have agreed.  After all, he comes off as a straight lunatic who one would think to be incapable of holding a job.  The problem is Fritz claims to be a research scientist at a very large corporation.

Fritz's post regarding his employment

If that is indeed true, this man is highly educated and yet is also severely disconnected from reality, as evidenced by his comments about the church shooting.  In fact, his LinkedIn profile lists a fairly extensive education including a couple masters degrees and a PhD.

So, how does someone so highly educated become so hopelessly disconnected from reality?  How does a research scientist have such an irrational fear and hatred for inanimate objects that he would attribute evil on someone who saved countless lives, because they dared to use a tool in self-defense?

I cannot answer those questions, but rest assured Peter Fritz votes, and he votes for people who want to take away our guns.  Don’t take my word for that, take his.

“We need to eliminate guns from America for citizen safety.”

Another comment from Fritz showing his insane mindset

There are plenty of other people out there like Peter Fritz, who twist the facts to push their agenda.  If we hope to maintain our rights, we cannot afford to let these crackpots spew their insane mindset unopposed.  Call them out when you see them.  Let the rest of America, those whose minds may not be made up, see who they are siding with when it comes to gun rights.
